Many thanks for providing us with a superb holiday. The accommodation/pool/location are all excellent. We will be back for a re-run!
Ian, Moira & Lindsey McMillan, Le Chene, July 2004
Totally relaxing holiday. Lots to see and do - La Cite at Carcassonne, Mirepox market, Chateau de Termes, kayaking from Alet; much wine to taste - as well as the bubbly try the Toques & Clochers Chardonnay. Gite and pool excellent.
Sue & David Watkinson, Le Chene, August 2004
Had a wonderful time here. Love the area - lots to see and do. It's so peaceful here and the views are stunning. any time you feel like selling up - ask us first! We liked it so much we've already booked up for next year. Alors, a l'annee prochaine!
Tom & Brenda, Le Chene, September 2005
Enjoyable stay in well-appointed gite in quiet setting. Thoroughly wound down after two weeks relaxation by the pool.
Robertson Family, Le Chene, August 2006
Very enjoyable week in lovely peaceful location with plenty of places to visit if you can drag yourself away from the pool. Now it's time to leave we wish we had another week here - will have to return!
Cath & Clive Medlin, Le Chene, September 2006
Good red squirel watching and lots of woodpeckers. We have had a wonderful restful holiday in this most beautiful part of France. We could well return if possible to Le Chene.
Thank you
David & Jane Brett, Le Chene, September 2007
What a fantastic holiday - so peaceful and relaxing (certainly not looking forward to returning to noise and fumes around Heathrow). The gite is the best equipped one we've been to over the last ten years. Many thanks for a wonderful time.
Burrows Family, Le Chene, August 2008
Lovely gite - the best equipped we have found on our travels around France. Great pool too. Enjoyed the area - the lake at Montbel and all the villages and beautiful countryside. Everyone friendly - a great week, thank you.
Sarah & Mark, Le Chene, July 2009
Dear Sue & Mike, We had a wonderful time here. It was a lovely feeling waking up in the morning and jumping into that great pool! Thank you for making us feel welcome into your lovely gite. We have had great adventures here, going to markets and those historical castles. We will see you again soon, we are definitely coming back! Bye!

Found a little piece of heaven! Thanks so much for looking after us so very well. Mike - you need to practice getting on that inflatable prior to next years visit. Take good care.

Julia & Tony Tester, Le Cerisier, July 2004
Enjoyed just one week here of our four week holiday in what is now our favourite part of France (22 yrs of visiting the country). This is our style of holiday - in the country; visiting nearby towns, villages and beauty spots; spending picnics by rivers; BBQ's on the terrace; eating out in local restaurants. The gite is very well equipped and comfortable. This is a place to put on our list for future holidays.
Ken & Gill Davies, Le Cerisier, September 2004
A really excellent week in a lovely place! Le Cerisier is a great, well-equipped little gite and our hosts made us feel very welcome indeed - thanks for a wonderful stay!
Susie Lee & Ed Franks, Le Cerisier, May 2005
End of another lovely French holiday. Lots of lazy spells by the pool, several good meals out, a few walks in the woods and lots of ambling around nearby towns. Many thanks for a warm welcome, spotless gite and lots of friendly chats.
Eleanor & Tony Blackburn, Le Cerisier, August 2005
Our third holiday here. We had an idea last year to bring our grandchildren and use both gites - so we did it! We had a wondful hot, sunny week which passed all too quickly. Domaine du Renne is a perfect location for this type of holiday - plenty of time in the pool, walking in the woods and vineyards, visiting local beauty spots and markets.
Ken & Gill Davies, Le Cerisier & Le Chene, June 06
We have been lucky enough to spend a whole month here in what is our best holiday house ever in over 20 years of coming France. This is the first time we haven't had to buy anything to supplement the inventory! Last night while having a final dip in the pool I looked up and overhead were about 30 Kites (red or black - not sure) gliding across the sky. It was an amazing sight and a perfect end to a perfect holiday. Like Ken & Gill Davies we hope to be back.
Heather & Alasdair MacLaren, Le Cerisier, Aug 06
The best gite holiday in years ....... we've had two great weeks. A huge thanks for everything.
Pam & Trevor Howson, September 2006
A really lovely spot, looking out over the vineyards and a wonderful pool. We went on the walk in the woods which was so peaceful with lots of butterflies. We liked the way Le Cerisier has been done and have had a very nice relaxing week.
Jim & Rosie Waterman, Le Cerisier, June 2007
We've had a wonderful week at Le Cerisier. The gite itself was perfectly equipped, the pool great and the scenery all one could wish for. A fabulous peaceful week, thoroughly enjoyed the walks.
Peter & Pippa, Le Cerisier, July 2007
A lovely week in wonderful surroundings. The views, the walks and peaceful atmosphere just made our holiday. Thank you for all those who have written before - the advice was really helpful - difficult to add more. Finally, the gite and pool - a great location and setting. Perhaps another visit is in order
Chris & David Franklin, Le Cerisier, August 2007
One week is not long enough to experience all that this region has to offer. Every minute has been packed. The gite is very comfortable and well equipped. It is delightful eating breakfast or dinner on the terrace listening to the bird song. The swimming pool has been a real bonus to our holiday. Thank you for a memorable holiday and for your help in making it so.
Kirstie & Graham Woodman, Le Cerisier, July 2008
Our first experience of this area and one to be repeated. The gite is perfect and the pool always spotless thanks to our excellent hosts. The information provided before and during our visit was excellent and thoughout our stay nothing was too much trouble.
Jess & Diane Bilinski, Le Cerisier, August 2008
I've always liked France and have always wanted to visit the Languedoc region. I have to say the area far exceeded my expectations. The excellent weather, the tranquility of the gites and the beauty and variety of the region combined to make an excellent holiday. On a hot day the proximity of the pool is too big a temptation to stay and not explore the region. We had an excellent time.
Mike & Glynis Morley,Le Cerisier, August 2008
Another great week in "paradise" - we can never find the words - we just love it!
Maggie & Eddie, Le Cerisier, May 2009
This is our 5th visit to Domaine du Renne so what more is there to say! We have had another lovely relaxing week and have enjoyed it as much as ever.
Gill & Ken Davies, Le Cerisier, June 2009
A wonderful relaxing fortnight, with breakfast outside every morning and some swimming nearly every day. Mike & Sue have been very welcoming and I dare say we'll come back some day. Pity we can't take the local 'Blanquette' back on the 'plane - it's exquisite and I don't even like champagne!
Geoffrey & Alison White, Le Cerisier, August 2009
The gite has been thoughtfully equipped and the best we have stayed in after eight visits to various parts of France. The pool is a great place to cool down on a hot day. This is a wonderful part of France, so peaceful, and the views are spectacular. We have enjoyed our meals sitting outside the gite listening to the birdsong. Thank you Mike and Sue for a wonderful welcome.
Graham and Jan, Le Chene, June 2010
The gites are perfectly positioned and orientated - great views and superb facilities in every respect. Limoux is an extraordinary town: vibrant, friendly and always something happening. There are wonderful historic sites in every direction and spectacular landscapes. The coast and Spain are easily reached and worth the effort if you start early to avoid the coast traffic. Most of all, Sue & Mike are great hosts - nothing is too much trouble!
